Mooie Noten 2024

This spring, singer-songwriters and (semi)-acoustic acts will once again showcase their music on various stages in Amsterdam. The 18 selected acts will compete in 3 preliminaries for a spot in the semi-finals. The first preliminary round will take place on Wednesday, March 20th, at De Hallen Studio’s, featuring: Lies & Saar, Simon Stuij, Coos, FKA Zuiderzee, Julia Adriana, RED DANCING MOON, and Nikita.

Mooie Noten (in English: Beautiful Notes) is the Amsterdam pop song competition for singer-songwriters and (semi) acoustic acts of up to three people. The focus is on the pop song itself, with attention given to composition, lyrics, and musical presentation. Mooie Noten is a competition known for the unique venues where participants can perform. In recent years, our participants have played at venues such as Paradiso Amsterdam, Vondelpark Openluchttheater, Theater Bellevue, and the Vondelkerk.

GRAP organizes Mooie Noten to give emerging talent the opportunity to present themselves to the public, press, and music industry. Previous winners include Kaya, Juliet, Melle, Susann., Meis, Pitou, and Lucas Hamming.
