4 May commemoration Oud West

Every year, we commemorate the end of World War II. On 4 May, the Oud-West commemoration will take place at the memorial plaque for the fallen employees of the Stadsreiniging in the Passage of De Hallen. Everyone is welcome to attend the 4 May commemoration Oud-West.

This year, we also reflect on the horrific violence in the world right now and the victims that have fallen there.

The programme starts around 19:30 and will be musically framed by the VOXNL Ensemble. There will be several speeches and a reading by spoken word artist Luan Buleshkaj. At 20:00, we will be silent for 2 minutes. The Tattoo will be played by Bart Noorman. We sing the national anthem together with the VOXNL Ensemble.

Afterwards, we lay flowers and flower arrangements at the memorial plaque framed by songs by the VOXNL Ensemble.
