Tesla Piano Trio

Founded in 2020, the Tesla Piano Trio exists of the Servian violin Nataša Grujić, the Portuguese cellist Isabel Vaz and the Dutch pianist. Next to their diverse backgrounds, they have a variated view on music and the main focus in their concerts is to combine music and the different art styles in a creative way. They also like to interact with the public, to be approachable and to make it personal during their shows. The Tesla Piano Trio is a young trio that is concurring the Dutch stages. Recently they got honoured with a scholarship of the Fonds Podiumkunsten. In their most recently program, they combine their music with a panel talk where the music is connected to the psychopathology of the componist. They offer an intriguing program of an hour with a concert/reading, where the soul and spirit of some of the most creative and troubled componists gets examined. The pianist Daniël Kool, who besides being a graduate at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, is also a psychologist. In a short reading he will lay the connections between the music and the psych of the componists.
