Bloody Marie is a multicultural comedy to break the worldwide taboo on menstruation. Connecting, humorous and original. Three women from different cultural backgrounds take the audience on a flight from Syria to Europe. From the detention center to the treatment chair of a gynecologist in Amsterdam. Bloody Marie breaks the taboo on menstruation with razor-sharp humor.

With Bloody Marie, the collective Pitjes United wants to create awareness in an original and humorous way when it comes to the oppression of women. In addition, they want to use the performance to spread a social and educational message on the topic of menstruation. The production Bloody Marie is based on truthful stories. Pitjes United consists of a collective of women between the ages of 22 and 62 with different backgrounds.
