Exhibition ‘Contemporary Art’

This month, Jouke Tjamme Kooistra exhibits his exhibition Contemporary Art’ in the Passage of De Hallen Amsterdam. Tjamme Kooistra has been inspired by the Aboriginals from Australia for more than 25 years. In his work the dot art of the Aboriginals is also clearly visible as influences of pointillism and optical illusion.

His work is built up point by point. Most paintings consist of more than 100.000 dots, each of which has been put on the canvas with the right positive energy.

Due to the intensive way of painting, each piece is unique and Tjamme Kooistra sometimes works on a painting for six months to two years.

The exhibition Contemporary Art’ can be seen throughout November!
