Life stories Writing Course – 6 Parts (the course is in Dutch)

In this workshop, participants write their own life story or that of someone else, such as a family member or a historical figure. You can take a broad approach: Travel stories are also (auto)biographical, or the history of the village where you grew up.

Experienced writing instructor Wilma van den Akker offers a structure of inspiring theory and exercises over six lessons, enhancing both writing pleasure and skill. The focus lies on the craft side of the writing profession, with attention to narrative technical aspects such as structure, time, narrative perspective, use of metaphors, and dialogues. In a safe environment where constructive feedback is given with attention to each individual, everyone is encouraged in their creativity.
