Colour World

Celebrate the power of colour!

A big explosion of colour with art kimonos, neckshrines (necklace jewellery), painted chairs, shoes, jackets, printed plastics, beautiful creations in various media. Colour World shows art with humour and cheerful seduction where many items are wearable or useful.

With works by Helen Roeten, colour queen Sue Kreitzman and other London artists.

Colour World includes the Colour Walk, which artist Helen Roeten introduces to Amsterdam for the first time this year during the reopening of the Kinkerstraat on the 15th of July.

The Colour Walk from London is an initiative of Sue Kreitzman. Every third Thursday of the month, fashion designers, fashionistas and people who make and wear colourful, artistic clothes gather at Old Spitalfields Market.

Prior to the Colour Walk, Helen Roeten will give a workshop on Saturday the 8th of July from 2-4 pm for anyone who wants to pimp and paint clothes, design their own jewelery and transform hats into works of art. Look here for more information
