Colour Walk

On the 15th of July, artist Helen Roeten organizes the first Amsterdam Colour Walk!

Join us in your most exuberant creation, meet other colourful people and join the Colour Walk. We will leave at 2:00 pm from Gallery Beeldend Gesproken in De Hallen and walk through the passage to the reopened, newly furnished Kinkerstraat.

The Colour Walk concept comes from London, where every third Thursday of the month at Spitalfields Market a group of people in their most beautiful and colorful creations meet. The initiator of this event is the almost eighty year old artist Sue Kreitzman. Look here for an impression from London.

Do you need inspiration for a colourful creation? Come to the free workshop given by Helen Roeten on Saturday, the 8th of July, from 2 to 4 pm at Gallery Beeldend Gesproken. Bring what you like to work with; for example clothing, hats, artificial flowers, recycled material, glitter, acrylic paint or any other materials.
