Cineblend Café: The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales

Wednesday, Sept. 13, there will be a special screening of The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales with a follow-up conversation with director Abigail Disney during Cineblend Café, a recurring documentary night about cultural diversity at the FilmHallen and Café Belcampo.

Abigail Disney looks at America’s dysfunctional and unequal economy and wonders why the American Dream has worked for the rich, but is a nightmare for those born with less. To imagine a more just future, Disney uses her family’s story to explore how this systemic injustice has been able to take hold.
