Both the better movies from Hollywood and award-winning films from Europe and the rest of the world will be shown in De FilmHallen. De Filmhallen shows movies and documentaries for the film lover and for children and families. In addition, (film) festivals and special events take place regularly.

Room 7 is decorated with the historical interior of the ‘Parisienzaal’ from the Filmmuseum-Vondelpark. This beautiful art deco interior originates from the Cinema Parisien cinema which was on the Nieuwendijk from 1910 to 1956.
