Exhibition ‘Oud Papier’

Using the name Oud Papier (Paper Waste) Rosanne Koster creates collages. She finds strange texts and surreal imagery in old newspapers, found magazines and books. These are then combined with drawings in different media to create new artworks. The results of this paper recycling are often dryly comical and absurd.

Rosanne (1989) lives and works in Amsterdam. She studied at the Amsterdamse University of the Arts and the Pratt Institute in New York. Artists that inspire her practice include Hannah Höch, Julie Cockburn and Gummbah.

The exhibition ‘Oud Papier’ can be seen throughout June in the Passage of De Hallen.
