SeeYou@Art – ‘A Journey Along Art’
An international art event with, among others, artists from Morocco, Russia & Japan!
On June 8th, ‘A Journey Along Art’ can be seen in the Passage of De Hallen Amsterdam. A journey full of inspiring art from foreign artists who have settled in the Netherlands. Various paintings, installations and sculptures can be seen during the event.
Get acquainted with contemporary art from; Lana van Lanigh from Russia, Mohamed Bouyzgarne from Morocco, Hanae Sasaoka from Japan, Kirilla Mihai from Romania, Victoria Soto from Spain, Nanna Lahn from Denmark, Hemaseh Manawi Rad from Iran & Mireille de Jong from the Netherlands. During ‘A Journey Through Art’ the artists tell how they experience the Netherlands and how their lives in the Netherlands and their native country have influenced their art.
The artists have created small works inspired by the Netherlands especially for this event. These can be purchased during the event at the SeeYou@Art Shop. The prices vary between 20 and 500 euro.
Discover the world of etching
As icing on the cake, the originally Argentinian artist Pablo Ponce gives a unique etching workshop. The workshop takes place at June 5th from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and continues on June 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced students. Pablo guides you through your entire creative process. The work created by the students will be exhibited alongside the work of the artists during the event. Tickets for € 35 per person for the workshop can be purchased via firstname.lastname@example.org.
