Exhibition ‘LIVING AND WORKING IN TETTERODE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING’

Near De Hallen you will find the largest residential-work complex in Amsterdam. Forty years ago, squatters prevented the demolition from the former type foundry located between Bilderdijkstraat and Da Costakade. Since then, the building has grown into a creative stronghold. Especially for the 40th anniversary of Tetterode, photographer Dominique Panhuysen – herself part of the community since 1990 – captured the building and its inhabitants.

The special exhibition can be admired from 9 to 24 October in the Passage of De Hallen Amsterdam
