DarkSenses
The Mexican composer Juan Felipe Waller wrote Murmura, which means gossiping or mumbling. In six poetic parts this composition brings an ode to our hearing. Written to be performed in the dark, this composition explores the smallest nuances and the biggest contrasts of listening. The second composition Who is Speaking is composed by the Argentinian Claudio Baroni. He created a subtle and sensual world of voices, nature-and city sounds, where you can hear harps through tactical speakers in the soundscape. The last composition, Dark Ecology is written by Morris Kliphuis. Morris has a rhythmic and swinging composition for two harps combined with the freedom of the Korean dancer Miri Lee. The result is a magical discovery of movement and sound.
