Amsterdam Language Cafe: Folklore edition

What could be a better way to spend your Friday evening than meeting nice people, practicing your favorite languages and joining a dance workshop? This time we have a special theme in our Amsterdam Language Café: folklore dancing! Folklore Dancing Amsterdam will help us create an extra special night for all of you. The dance workshop starts at 20:30

The concept of the Amsterdam Language Cafe is simple: all nationalities are welcome and you can practice any language you want to improve. You will get a sticker with your name, the languages you speak and the languages you want to practice on it. Then your language exchange experience can begin!

Our friends from Folklore Dancing Amsterdam are going to host a dance workshop in the room above the Language Café, which will start at 20:30. You are not obliged to participate, you can also stay downstairs in the café to practice your language skills.

We ask for an entrance fee of € 5,- for the organization of the event and to support our ALC Children in Slotermeer. These children get Dutch and English lessons to help them succeed in primary school. Dutch Language School Koentact (www.koentact.nl) is going to raffle a free Dutch Language Course with a value of € 445,-. Every visitor has a chance to win!
