The Patchwork Family is vibrant and diverse community of recent graduates, united in our unwavering support for one another throughout every step of our creative and commercial developments as fashion designers. We believe in community over competition, together we want to lower the bar of entry for young designers and give sustainable design talent the stage they deserve.

What sets us apart is our shared love for up-cycling, a sustainable and inclusive approach that resonates with their values, but is completely re-imagined by each Family Member. We strongly believe that up-cycling is not just a fashion choice; it‘s a crucial part of our holistic strategy to address the challenges in the fashion industry today.

One of the defining features of the Patchwork Family is our dynamic growth. We started this collective to learn and evolve and will never stop doing so. Every year, new members join the Family, expanding and diversifying our skillset, our opportunities and our talents. But it doesn‘t stop there. We understand that fashion is the culmination of multidisciplinary collaboration, and we continuously welcome talented individuals from various creative spheres, including performers, DJs, photographers, videographers, and graphic designers.

Our journey has taken us to various institutions, communities, and labels across the Netherlands, including notable collaborations with the Depot of Boijmans van Beuningen, Humanoid, Club Church and Fashion For Good. In the beginning of this year, we embarked on an exciting tour to showcase our work at Berlin Fashionweek, Paris Fashionweek, and London Fashion Revolution Week, in collaboration with Fashion Revolution and Fashion Open Studio. This tour made us find our voice as a show collective and made us experts in re-imagining fashion shows through the lens of queer underground performances.
